Alexander's 2nd day- Post by Vladi

Today is Tuesday May 5th. Alexander is 1 day old. He is a bundle of joy for Sarah Beth, myself, our parents, Meredith and the rest of our families. My parents, Sarah Beth's dad and Meredith had to go back to Kentucky today, Sarah Beth's mom is staying with us for a few weeks to which Sarah Beth and I are thankful.

I stayed the night with Sarah Beth and Alex in her room overnight. Alex was crying/fussy most of the night after sleeping most of the day yesterday. I got two hours of sleep, Sarah Beth got only about 30 minutes. Sarah Beth is recovering well from her C-Section. She can already walk around some. The nurses are amazed that she is already walking around and is experiencing minimal discomfort.

We are very excited about everything. Sarah Beth asked me to thank everyone with the support and well wishes. Taking care of the baby is a lot of work but it is a rewarding I can not imagine my life without Alex. Sarah Beth intends to write a blog as soon as she is up to it.
