Vladi and I are proud to announce that we are having a baby! We go to the Dr. on Monday for our first visit. We are so excited! I have so many stories to share already that I will be sharing in the coming days.
Look at the cute picture of what "our little Meatball" looks like already ("Meatball" to be explained in the future)! It is the size of a blueberry right now with a tail (spinal cord). The arms and legs are forming and the big bulge in the chest is the heart pouch. A few weeks ago it was the size of a poppy seed and a lentil bean. I was able to see the actual size of a poppy seed last night when I had dinner and was a Consultant for a Mary Kay Party at my friend/coworker, Sharon Madison's home. She made a wonderful salad with poppy seeds. I said, "That was the size of the baby at 6 weeks!" A poppy seed is extremely small. Unbelievable that at that time the brain and heart were forming in something so tiny. We are so blessed to have this miracle from God.
