Meatball...Watch Out!

Today at work wasn't the greatest. I hope that you had a better day! A student came in very angry and to make a long story short, the student hit me in my stomach. I am ok and have no signs to be concerned with. I called my Dr. to make sure the baby was ok. His nurse said to call if I have blood spots and cramps. I did have some cramping, but not the type the nurse was talking about.

It seems like something is always happening to me at work: (pre-pregnancy incidents) falling on the floor that was still wet after 4 hours (thanks humidity), falling again, literally flipping off a swing, and the best one of all....drum roll please....on a beautiful, blue sky, with no breeze day, a tree branch fell on me. (Now post-pregnancy) 2 different students have hit me in the stomach! (today's was the hardest).

While living in Cleveland, Vladi and I have had many adventures: adopting two beautiful black kittens (Haifa and Maccabi), being evacutated from our apartment because of a train derailment behind our apartment (that was fun because we stayed in a hotel with the cats and got compensated), a car accident coming back from KY during Thanksgiving weekend (2007), and my 1st job here closed down and did not pay the teachers our last paychecks (2 weeks before Christmas). And no, we do not believe this stuff happened because we adopted 2 black cats, haha, we are not superstitious.

Through everything, we have prayed, laughed, loved, and thanked God for our safety. We believe everything happens for a reason, and their is a reason for all of this~maybe the adventures, maybe because Vladi and I grew closer, or maybe because all of this has led us to this baby.
